WinHlp32.exe Is Not Opening In Windows 7- Problem Resolved

Recently I installed windows 7 in my new computer. Windows 7 is Intended to be a cleaner, more powerful, more efficient and more aesthetically pleasing user interface than the previously used theme (Luna) for xp, it includes new translucency, live thumbnails, live icons, animations , eye candy and more features. I generally use DevC++ for learningcomputer language. Often I take the help from its help file. After few days of installation ofwindows 7 in my computer I moved to learn again C++.

DevC++ help file on windows 7 os

I  amazed when i want to open its help file it gives me an error message and that is

Giving an error message and saying "why can't i get help form this program?"
According to Microsoft:
“When you try open an .hlp file in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2, you receive the following message in the Windows Help and Support window:
The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn’t included in this version of Windows. However, you can download a program that will allow you to view Help created in the Windows Helpformat. ”

Windows Help (WinHlp32.exe) is a Help program that has been included with Microsoft Windows versions starting with the Microsoft Windows 3.1 operating system. However, theWindows Help program has not had a major update for many releases and no longer meets Microsoft's standards. Therefore, starting with the release of Windows Vista and continuing in Windows 7, the Windows Help program will not ship as a feature of Windows.
But no problem we can resolve this problem with small update to installs in your computer.
To resolve this problem follow this steps:
Step 1: Download this update from softpedia

Step 2: Install it.

Step 3: Now you are done.

Step 4: Now your winHlp32.exe will open as usual.

Step 5: Happy!!!
