You can use Windows to keep track of people and organizations by creating contacts for them in Windows Contacts. Each contact contains information about one person ororganization.

When you need to look up a friend's e mail address or phone number, you can find it in theContacts folder. When you want to keep notes about a business contact, you can store them in the Contacts folder. You can also store pictures of contacts in the Contacts folder.

 
What's in a contact?


You can store as much or as little information as you like about each contact, including any of the following:
• E mail addresses
• A picture
• Phone numbers
• Street addresses
• Family information
• Website addresses
•  Notes

Adding a contact

1.Click to open your personal folder

 
2.Double click to contacts folder.

 
3.Click New Contact, type the information you want for the contact in any of the boxes on the available tabs, and then click OK. You don't have to fill in all the boxes; just enter as much information as you want.

File Block is a new feature in Microsoft office 2010. To improve security for any company previous versions of Microsoft Office file types should not be opened without the help of Protected View. Examples of previous versions are Word 2.0 documents, Excel 4 workbooks, outlines in PowerPoint, and so on.
File Block prevents out-dated file types from opening and can cause your file to open in Protected View. The code used to open and save these older formats have vulnerabilitiesthat hackers can exploit. Thus, they present security risks that should be avoided, if possible. File Block settings are made by the system administrator, if you work in an organization. File Block helps with the following:

• Encourage similar Office file types that are used in your organization
• Lower security threats that target older Office file types

Protected View is a read-only mode in which most editing functions have been disabled. There are several reasons why a file opens in Protected View: The file was opened from an Internet location   when you encounter the message in Protected View that states this file originated from an Internet location and might be unsafe. Click for more details, this is because the file is being opened from the Internet. Files from the Internet can have viruses and other harmful content embedded in them.
